Wildlife Art Journal.com's Gallery of the Commons is one of our most popular reader features. In the three years since we created "the commons", hundreds of different living artists from around the world have displayed their work here free of charge. Our intention is to showcase the range and diversity of animal artist in front of collectors and other art lovers.
While we do our own search for artworks to feature, we also welcome a select number of reader submissions. For a few more weeks, we will continue to accept submissions for this next installment of Gallery of the Commons.
Artists (or their gallery representative) are invited to submit one image every month, so long as the subject matter of the work deals with wildlife or nature (we are loose in hard lines and definitions—view Gallery of the Commons in the past by searching our archives).
We will display an unspecified number of works on Gallery of the Commons at a time. As they are sent to us, we will hold some for the next edition. When you send us an image of a painting, sculpture, photograph or other visual work of art, include name of artist, title of the work if there is one, medium, dimensions, and gallery or website where the piece is on display; it can also be the artist's homepage.
Please include your own website address for verification, and send the image in jpg format to: editor@wildlifeartjournal.com Put "Gallery of the Commons" in the subject line.
