When you happen upon the next new online issue of Wildlife Art Journal magazine, you'll notice a symbol has been added: Wildlife + Art Journal
We hope you appreciate the purpose. For those who just can't get over their bias about "wildlife art"—believing that all it is is about duck stamps (nothing wrong with duck stamp art) or sporting art or environnmental art or art created by craftspeople instead of fine artists marching to their own drummer, the name change is intended to make you open your mind. We aren't intending to follow the stale approach of other magazines that keep recycling the same old stories over and over again, telling you to pony up hundreds of dollars to be mentioned in print. When collectors see artists mentioned in our stories, they can know they deserve to be here.
Wildlife + Art Journal celebrates diversity in nature and art. We can't imagine anything more worthy of keeping your interest.
