We realize that invoking a sports metaphor may cause some to blanch. We apologize. Having a conversation about art isn't a race to the finish; it's approached here as a relay, chronicling an always forward-looking handoff of creativity from one generation to the next.
Nearly two summers ago when Wildlife Art Journal magazine was launched, one of our first regular features was Five Questions/Five Art Works. It involves asking an artist five simple questions and ruminating on five different pieces of their own choosing. From there, the artist who is interviewed moves onto a colleague and becomes interviewer.
