Alexis Rockman is one of the most daring nature artists of the 21st century.  He fits into the category of ultimate contemporary wildlife artist and in a way relishes it. The Manhattanite has a sensitivity for natural history—he was a favorite, after all, of the late evolutionary biologist Stephen J.
