The Wide-Eyed Bestiary Of Carel Pieter Brest Van KempenBrest van Kempen's Portrayals of Nature Exotica Reach The Blauvelt Art MuseumCheers to the Wierdos!Posted By Andrew Denman on Dec 17, 2011 Carel, I'm glad to know you, pleased to learn more about you in this fine article, and looking forward to whatever you come up with next. In a world of such diversity, it's sad how many people strive to be the same...but it's great to see the inner workings of a fellow iconoclast evidenced on the page. Cheers to the wierdos! "admitted rabid collector declines intervention"Posted By Moonmadman on Dec 17, 2011 I have known Carel for almost 20 years, have purchased a good handful of his best works and have shared an ale or two more than a few times. I know of few artists that create with such exquisite proliferation. Bad for collectors but beautiful for the world. I am very proud of my association with Carel and thankfully, he is kind of odd looking and a less than average piano player, which allows us the dignity of hanging with a great and inspired creator of very fine art... Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Posted By Spence on Dec 17, 2011 Love, love the art!!!! Can't wait to see it!!!!!! Good Piece-- and About Time!Posted By Stephen Bodio on Dec 22, 2010 I hope Carel starts getting $$ like Ford. Hope to see the Tucson show-- and must blog the beetle (he'll know!)
